During this year’s tournament, he started the event with a sweep, and then progressed with his usual dominant fashion heading into the quarterfinals.
An athlete who has been ranked as high as the number two player in the world Zverev’s career highlights include a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics along with titles at the 2018 and 2021 ATP Finals. Moreover, he has notched an impressive 22 ATP Tour titles in singles action. During this tournament, he has looked very impressive, with straight-set wins in his first three rounds of play. Of course, his last matchup against Cameron Norrie was a bit more contested, but Zverev was able to outlast him heading into a showdown against Taylor Fritz.
Prediction: Certainly a stacked field, take Sinner to extend his winning ways at Wimbledon and lock down his first-ever championship at the iconic event and venue.
