Set to kick off in earnest this week in London, the 2023 Wimbledon Championship features an explosive women’s bracket with multiple favorites. Moreover, she won a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, representing her home country of the Czech Republic. In recent years though she has had mixed results at Wimbledon, last advancing past the quarter-finals in 2014, the year of her last title. Her overall record at the tournament is 35-12.
Prediction: This tournament should be another excellent contest and while there are numerous viable candidates for the crown, take Sabalenka to finally break through and win a Wimbledon title.
