BWin does manynthings right, but with restricted geographical access and limited mobile betting experience, is it worth it?
Editor’s rating
BWin is off-limits to bettors in the United States and Canada. Other than that it’s not bad!

Account creation
Event flow is everything when it comes to creating an account at online sportsbooks. BWin does a great job of lapping the field.
Account creation is broken down into three steps: Username and email; name and birthday; and then address and contact preferences. The absolute last step is great. You have the option of selecting which types of correspondence youâd like to have with BWin. Not all sportsbooks give you that freedom.
Welcome Bonuses
If youâre looking for a matching bonus on your first deposit, youâll have to head elsewhere. BWin doesnât offer one.
But they do have other options for you to peruse, one of which includes 10 free spins to use on their specialty casino games.
Deposits
Every step of the deposit process at BWin is better than seamless.
After selecting your payment method, the next page will have you input all the required information, including your currency of choice and how much you wish to deposit. Once thatâs done, youâll be able to submit your transaction and be ready to place bets within minutes.
Bitcoin is not currently accepted at BWin. However, they give you the option of speaking with a customer service representative when making deposits. They might be willing to make exceptions if you speak with them.
Credit card users are typically seeking to deposit funds with one of these four issuers: Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover. BWin accepts two from this list, Visa and Mastercard, which is, in our experience, a pretty good selection.
Withdraw Winnings
Withdrawals at BWin are processed quickly and typically without issue.
To begin the process, make sure youâre logged in. Then, simply hit the âwithdrawalâ option at the top of your screen. From there, youâll get to choose one of more than a dozen withdrawal options, most of which wonât take longer than two days to process.
Placing a Bet
The BWin mobile betting interface does have you go through a little too many motions. They overload their screens so youâre forced to scroll down for a long time, and you wonât see the betslip option unless you make it all the way down the page.
Still, the process itself, while tedious, is also simple. The betslip tells you clearly how much you can win and will inform you if the odds have changed since you selected your wager. Plus, BWin has a unique âBuild your own betâ options that allows you to gamble on certain events and combinations that are more specific to the selection youâve made.
Politics Betting
The politics market at BWin is a lot broader than most other sportsbooks. They traffic primarily in United States and German elections, but they do have a few other places to choose from.
There isnât much deviation from the norm when it comes to the type of wagers available. But BWin does allow you to bet odds on two elections at once. For example, they have odds not only on the U.S.âs 2020 presidential election, but also the 2024 presidential election.
eSports
Scant few sportsbooks will have as many esports options as Bwin. They have all the usual suspects: Counterstrike, Dota, Overwatch, etc. But youâll also be treated to less common tournamentsâthe real nitty-gritty competitions only diehards can appreciate, such as PlayerUnknownâs BattleGrounds, Rainbow 6 and Valorant.
Virtual Sports Betting
Virtual sports are video game events that get simulated in real time. Not every sportsbook offers them. BWin does. You can bet on virtual tennis, greyhound racing, horse racing, motor racing, soccer and even american football.
NBA
The NBA markets at BWin are identical to those found in the NFL and MLB sections. They offer game lines and all the usual outrightsâconference championship winners, NBA Finals winners, win totals, etc.âbut also have a few outside-the-box props available.
Like MLB, our favorite option is BWinâs matchup outrights. Betting on which two teams will reach the NBA Finalsâone from the Western Conference and one from the Eastern Conferenceâis both an intriguing thought exercise and a potentially lucrative venture.
US Open
Tired of the sportsbooks that only offer the chance to bet on the winners of golf majors? BWin feels the same way. Those outright lines are available, but they also provide you with some prop options, such as âWill Rory McIlroy win a major this year?â and other bets along those lines.
NFL
BWin appears committed to going beyond the regular NFL game lines. They have all those odds, to be sure. But they also provide weekly and outright props, in addition to win-total and Super Bowl Options.
More Betting Options
Believe us when we say youâll never run out of betting options at BWin. Their other betting markets include college football, college basketball, badminton, baseball, basketball, biathlon, boxing, cricket, cycling, darts, soccer, handball, hockey, MMA, Formula 1, other motorsports, rugby, snooker, tennis, table tennis, volleyball and more.
Casino
BWin has your casino itch covered with all of the following gaming options:
Bonus
The casino at BWin is loaded with promotions aplenty, including free spins and weekly bonuses. Their most useful promo is âWednesday Reload,â which gives you an extra 20 percent on top of whatever you deposit, up to âŹ50.
Live Betting
Members of BWin will have an extensive list of live betting options to choose from at all hours of the day. Lines are refreshed in real-time, and your betslip will let you know if any odds change before you submit your wager.
Parlay Betting
Parlay bets are great if youâre willing to increase your risk to up your potential reward. Correctly predicting multiple wagers will adequately pad your wallet, and BWin makes it easy to turn your single bets into parlays.
Additional Betting Help
Great sportsbooks offer alternative forms of support for their users. It comes as no surprise, then, that BWin goes above and beyond with all of the following:
Be sure to check out BWinâs blog. They donât provide betting advice, but they do keep you up to date with all the latest changes and information across all sports, whether it be live events, esports or gambling-law news.
Promotions
Larger welcome bonuses at BWin would be great. What they lack there, though, they make up for with their sheer breadth of rewards. They offer a bunch of different bonuses across the casino and poker roomâpromotions that you can earn by betting at the sportsbook, too.
Customer Service
Many online sportsbooks make finding their customer support center a chore. Not BWin. They will have you go through a list of frequently asked questions, but if their pre-written responses donât solve your problem, they give you a choice of emailing your query or speaking with a live representative.
Emails
BWin lets you select what messages you want to receive from them, and how you want to receive them, when you sign up. This means no spam of any kind, not even promotional offers unless you specifically select them.
Live Streaming
Select competitions can be streamed on BWinâs mobile app. Most of these events will be non-American sports, and you canât live stream them from your desktop. But who cares! This is more than most other online sportsbooks offer.
VPN
We used a VPN service to make an account from an unsupported territory and had no issues to report.
Conclusion
BWin is a decent sportsbook. But by not accepting Bitcoin or being open to bettors from the US or Canada, it’s all for naught.
