While the 2023 NFL season concluded months ago with the Super Bowl, the peak of pro football’s off-season is almost here with the 2024 NFL Draft and the stars of tomorrow. With that in mind, Xbet of course has gotten in on the action with a huge variety of prop bets and betting markets related to the event. While many outlets have some kind of betting odds related to who will be selected first overall, Xbet has really upped the ante here with a variety of betting markets from who will be selected second in the draft to player-specific markets. An example of this includes an athlete like Michigan star running back Blake Corum getting picked up by the Los Angeles Chargers (+190).

For this report, SBS will be going over what to look for from the latest gaming news coming from Xbet along with more notes and information about the website.

Number one pick has a favorite, but uncertain after

Per the betting markets from Xbet, USC quarterback Caleb Williams is far and away the favorite to be selected as the first overall pick (-10000) in the upcoming Draft by the Chicago Bears. The Heisman Trophy winner in 2022, Williams is certainly a ballyhooed prospect, and the quarterback-needy Bears are in a position to energize their fanbase with this selection so the pairing makes sense. Should not be selected by Chicago, the rest of the top three are made up of quarterbacks as well with LSU’s Jayden Daniels (+1800) and North Carolina’s Drake Maye (+2000). The dark horse here is Ohio State’s electric wide receiver Marvin Harrion Jr. at +4500.

Beyond the first overall pick, Xbet has a betting market related to who will be the first non-quarterback selected in the Draft. Based on the prior array of selections, one would perhaps surmise that Harrison Jr. would lead the way here and they are correct as he tops this category at -500. After him, a player to watch here is the talented tackle from Notre Dame, Joe Alt who checks in at +1400. The top of the Draft this year is loaded with teams with question marks at quarterback though with the Bears, Commanders, and Patriots all needing an upgrade at the signal-caller position. Moreover, a potential surprise pick here would be Georgia tight end Brock Bowers who wowed the SEC the past two years with his fantastic playmaking and receiving ability.

Daniels is tabbed as the second overall pick choice

Regarding the second overall selection, Daniels is the top favorite at Xbet to be selected as the second overall choice after Williams.  As it stands right now, this would be the Commanders selecting the LSU quarterback and 2023 Heisman Trophy winner who was fantastic last season in leading the Tigers. Maye is the second player here in this category at +115. On the topic of quarterbacks, the trio also headlines the category of which quarterback will be drafted first with Williams (-5000), Daniels (+1200), and Maye (+2000) all in the mix, but Williams is still the heavy favorite.

Multiple player prop bets available on Xbet’s page

As noted above, there are certain player prop bets as well beyond just the major players associated at the top of the draft class. One of the players noted on this list includes Michigan running back Blake Corum who was a standout for the Wolverines the past couple of seasons. Of course, a team that jumps to the top of the list of favorites to select Corum is the Los Angeles Chargers (+190) led by their new head coach, Jim Harbaugh who was Corum’s coach in Ann Arbor. Regarding another athlete, Bowers is touted by analysts and scouts as not only the best tight end in the draft but perhaps the top overall offensive prospect in the draft as well. The New York Jets, a team that has some star power, but needs more offensive firepower, are the favorites to select him at +140.

Beyond the individual player selections, there are also particular team and position betting markets in this upcoming draft. This includes which category of player will be selected as Mr. Irrelevant which is the name for the player picked in the draft. For this category, Xbet thinks that quarterback at +300 is the top choice for the honor of Mr. Irrelevant in 2024. After that, the offensive line is also in the mix at +500 along with the defensive line as well at +500. Certainly finding a capable backup quarterback and shoring up the trenches is very much on the mind of NFL coaches at the end of the draft.
