UFC 263 Betting Preview

Glendale, Arizona is excited to hold its second UFC Fight Night. Headlining the main card is the UFC Middleweight championship bout in which defending champion Israel Adesanya will defend his title again against Marvin Vettori.

The last time this pair met, things were close. Adenyasa, Nigerian-born New Zealand mixed martial arts fighter, won but only by split decision. Adenyasa is the top Middleweight UFC fighter and is ranked #4 in the UFC’s Men’s pound-for-pound ranking. He is considered to be perhaps the best striker currently active in the UFC.

In fact, Adesanya has only lost once in his entire career, and that was when he went up against Jan Blachowicz, a fighter in a weight class above his own.

Vettori is indeed a tough fighter. He is one of the only fighters to stand their own against Adenyasa, even if he did eventually lose. The closeness of that match is largely considered a fluke, and Vettori has not done anything too impressive since to make us think his luck will be able to save him this time.

Plus, expect Adenyasa to be seeking revenge. He will want to silence this fly that has been buzzing around his head.

Pick: Adenyasa to Win

The moneyline bet for this fight is an easy call. In fact, it is probably even easier than most sportsbooks are putting their UFC betting odds. In other words, even though betting on a favorite can bring in such a small payout it is not always worth it, in this case, it is.

That is because you can feel confident putting more money on this bet, in order to bring in a decent payout.

Bovada has this moneyline at Adesanya (-265). This is an easy bet that we recommend making. It will also give you an opportunity to measure their relative strengths as they go up against UFC fighters in the future. You’ll be ready to make the best bets.
