This is a crazy year for NHL picks! With the Canucks’ long COVID pause, they have to play a few more regular-season games, so the NHL is running the regular season and playoffs at the same time. We are here to cut through the mess and provide you with free expert picks for the NHL Playoffs.

Carolina Hurricanes vs. Predators Best Bets

Tonight the puck will drop for the first of the seven-game series between the Hurricanes and the Predators. Tune in to CNBC at 8 pm EST to watch the action.

Nashville should be shaking in their skates as they get ready to hop on the ice. While they have had an excellent regular season, largely thanks to their goalie, Saros, it is unlikely that he will be able to save them against the Carolina offense.

Plus, while he stopped 92.7% of shots, making him the fourth-best goalie in the league, the starting goalie for the Hurricanes, Mrazek, had a similar save rate during his 12 games this season: 92.3%.

This Monday night game could, of course, go either way. But it is very likely that the Hurricanes will not have much trouble either tonight or in the long-run.

If you want to make a bet tonight, go with the Hurricanes on the moneyline. If you are looking for NHL playoffs best bets, go with the over 1.5 games on the series. It is unlikely that the Predators will be able to hold on for the full seven games they’re allotted.

How to Use Our Free Picks

Our free NHL picks are well-researched and based on our years of sports betting experience. We know exactly what to look for when betting on Hockey games, whether in the NHL Playoffs, the regular season, or the Stanley Cup.

This, however, does not mean that we are infallible. No one is. After all, you can never guarantee a winning bet. That is why it is wagering. We can only make smart bets and trust that over time we will come out on top, even if we lose a bet now and then.

So, take our free expert picks seriously. But also take them as advice, not as a commandment. If you are going with the underdog strategy, and we only recommend favorites, it is best to stick to your strategy and make other bets.

In other words, make sure to follow your strategy and use our picks as a starting pick either to build your own, or as a source of research and recommendations. You can use this knowledge to make the best hockey bets.

Top NHL Betting Sites

These picks, no matter how accurate, will be useless without an excellent hockey betting site. Our signature review process includes a systematic review and comparison of dozens of sports betting sites.

Whenever you use a betting site that we recommend, such as BetOnline, you can be sure that it is a legit sportsbook. They will present timely odds, and process payouts honestly. With so many out there, it is best not to stick with the trusted online betting sites.

It is even a good idea to sign up with at least two. This will allow you to compare lines across sportsbooks, ensuring you are getting the best deal possible.
