Though there are certainly some strong contenders at the top of the list for this upcoming Super Bowl halftime show, there are also some longshot candidates as well. Given the Vegas connection, there are a handful of entertainers who could make a surprise appearance at this year’s Super Bowl. For example, Britney Spears (+1500), who headlined the show back in 2001 at Super Bowl XXXV, could make an appearance given her Las Vegas residency. Moreover, another stalwart Vegas performer, Celine Dion is listed at +2000 to headline the Super Bowl.
The final two long-shot candidate performers from MyBookie are “Elvis impersonator” at +2500 and Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton at +3000. Certainly both making an appearance would be a nice nod to the history of Sin City and its rich history of entertainment and spectacle.
