In a rare turn of events, the favorites for Best Actress and Best Actor in a television film or miniseries come from the series: Beef. Per the main site, Ali Wong is the top choice to take home the Best Actress award at -700 for her stellar performance in Beef which tells the story of two strangers whose involvement in a road rage incident escalates into a prolonged feud. Her main foe in this series, Steven Yeun, is the top favorite to take home the award for Best Actor at -800. The ten-episode series was released in April of 2023 to acclaim from critics who praised Yeun’s and Wong’s performances, as well as the overall writing and directing of the film. Moreover, at the recent Primetime Emmy Awards, the series received eight wins, including acting victories for Yeun and Wong.
