For this promotion, all players receive one point for each correct answer and once selections are submitted, players may change all the way up until the registration deadline. First place in this contest will accrue a prize of $500, while second place notches a cool $300 and third place receives $200 in Free Play.
Beyond those prize allotments, the values diminish by $50 apiece until sixth place which receives $80 in Free Play. In fact, each place until 500th place ($10) will receive some sort of Free Play compensation. Per the main contest rules page, if various participants tie, the tie-breaker question will be used to determine the final standings of the contest. Moreover, participants will be ranked based on having the closest answer to the tie-breaker question. As stated in the main rules guide, if there are ties after the tie-breaker is taken into account, winnings will be split along with the next lowest prize.
As referenced on the initial rules page, winnings will be paid into each player’s account as Sportsbook Free Play and must be wagered at least three times before it is eligible for withdrawal. Winners in this contest will receive their prize money following the completion of the U.S. Open, typically the Wednesday following the tournament’s conclusion that weekend. Only entry per player is allowed. In the event that a player enters multiple times, only the first entry registered will be eligible for a prize.
