The Professional Fighters League heads to Dublin in December for the PFL Europe 4 competition aka the PFL Europe Championships. The interesting caveat to the PFL is that it is the first major MMA organization in which individual athletes compete in a regular season, post-season, and championship, rather than on a year-round basis per the PFL website. In one of the main championship fights of the evening, the Men’s Bantamweight title is on the line as Frans Mlambo squares off against Khurshed Kakhorov. Meanwhile, the PFL Lightweight Championship will be contested with John Mitchell (8-1) and Jakub Kaszuba (10-0) locking horns in a sensational title showdown. Both of these showdown previews should aid in your PFL Europe 4 betting.

In this article, SBS will be going over what to look for from each fighter along with predicted winners, and more info about PFL Europe 4 betting.

PFL Men’s Bantamweight Championship fight: Khurshed Kakhorov vs. Frans Mlambo

Fighter Spotlight: Khurshed Kakhorov

A fighter with an unblemished 2023 PFL record of 2-0, the athlete is aiming for a title win in this bout against Mlambo. With a professional record of 11-1, Kakhorov holds a leg-reach advantage over Mlambo, but is a bit shorter (two inches) and has less reach (eight inches). Regardless, he won both of his fights earlier this by unanimous decision and has accrued a solid track record of earning knockout wins with seven KO/TKO wins in his career.

Fighter Spotlight: Frans Mlambo

At 32 years of age, the “Black Mamba” is riding a seven-fight winning streak and has won the majority of his bouts by way of decision. Earlier this year, he won his bantamweight quarter-final matchup with a first-round knockout win over Farbod Iran Nezhad. While his semi-final contest came down to a split-decision win over Moktar Benkaci, Mlambo was able to pull out the win. With arm reach and height advantages, the South African fighter should be able to take this fight the distance with Kakhorov.

Prediction: While Kakhorov owns the better winning percentage mark over Mlambo, the latter has more of the physical tools to wear out his opponent. Take Mlambo to win here

PFL Men’s Lightweight Championship: Jakub Kaszuba vs. John Mitchell

Fighter Spotlight: Jakub Kaszuba

Fighting for the men’s lightweight title, Kaszuba has an excellent chance in this fight to extend his perfect MMA record to 11-0 with against Mitchell. In the lightweight bracket, he notched two great wins (one submission and one unanimous decision) en route to the championship showdown with Mitchell. With 10 career wins, he has won four of his fights via knockout and two with submission victories. Kaszuba enters this fight with a leg reach advantage over his opponent as well.

Fighter Spotlight: John Mitchell

The other contending fighter in this bout, while Mitchell has one loss in his career, was sensational in his two prior bouts, notching two unanimous decision wins. What’s more interesting about this fight is that Mitchell has a 15-pound weight advantage over Kaszuba which is one of the larger gaps seen in MMA fights. Moreover, he is also slightly taller and has an arm-reach advantage. Though he is lower in the overall MMA lightweight rankings, this will be a good chance for him to move up the ladder.

Prediction: This should be a fun fight with both vying for gold, but Mitchell’s physical advantages will give him the edge
