Bahrain Grand Prix

Gulf Air sponsors this Grand Prix, and was the first Formula One Grand Prix to take place in the  Middle East in 2004. Since 2006, it has been the opening race of the Formula 1 season, replacing the Australian Grand Prix.

This race is iconic in other ways too. In 2014 to celebrate the race’s ten-year anniversary, the race was held under floodlights in the dark of the night. It was only the second Formula 1 to do so after the Singapore Grand Prix.

Bahrain Grand Prix Picks

The odds place Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen in a neck and neck battle to win the season opener. With so much on the line, setting the tone for the whole year, you can bet both will be giving it their all.

In this case, go with Hamilton. He is the better driver and likely to come out on top. You will be able to bet on Verstappen all year long when he is the odds underdog. For the Bahrain Grand Prix, he is overvalued.
