Instead, he was booked on unrelated counts, including disorderly conduct and operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
Now, the case is being jointly investigated by the Seminole Police Department, the FBI’s South Florida Violent Crime and Fugitive Task Force, and the FBI’s Miami field office. Because the Hard Rock sits on tribal land owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, a federally recognized tribe, crimes committed on the property fall under federal jurisdiction.
