While there has been a lot of attention of late on some exciting UFC matchups on the way, don’t forget that there are still some pretty great boxing bouts on the calendar too. That includes a highly-anticipated showdown between David Benavidez, which is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22. Who will come out on top? Leading up to things, David Benavidez is a big favorite against Anthony Yarde for their title fight.
This is a matchup that people across the country are quite excited about. The fact that this one is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia only makes things even more interesting. Both of these fighters are known for their quality both on offense and defense. This is one that has entertainment written all over it, with both excited to put on a show in front of everyone watching.

“This is a perfect opponent for me to showcase my skills and my talents,” Benavidez told The Ring. “Anthony Yarde is a great fighter. He’s a tough veteran, but I’m just on a different level right now. I have everything. I have speed, I have defense and I have the skills and confidence. This fight is going to be a hard fight. I know Anthony Yarde is going to come in there and give everything, but I just feel like I’m going to show what level I’m on November 22nd.”
According to the best sports betting sites, Benavidez has been given incredible boxing odds to post a win, as he has been set at -1100. On the other side of the ring, Yarde has been placed at +600 by the best boxing betting sites. It’s going to be tough for Yarde to pull off an upset, but we think he will be able to hang tight for a little while. With that said, we’re no question going with Benavidez as our pick.
A big question that a lot of people have right now is how many rounds will the Benavidez vs. Yarde fight last? That’s a great question and while a lot of people think that Benavidez will be able to make easy work of this one, we don’t think that’s going to be the case, as Yarde has a ton of motivation to prove his haters wrong. At the same time, Benavidez will be looking to make a statement too.
“What I can genuinely take confidence from is I’ve seen my performance get better each time even though the opponent on paper has got better,” Yarde said in a recent interview. “I started boxing late, both of them fights came down to inexperience. I feel like I’m more experienced now so it’s exciting.”

As for this bout, the over/under has been set at 9.5 rounds, with -110 odds for both the over and the under. A lot of analysts think that Benavidez is going to get this show done early, but we respectively disagree with that take. Instead, we think that Yarde will be able to last at least 10 rounds. It will be interesting to see how things go here, but we’re going with the over as our pick.
This of course isn’t the only exciting bout on the way, as Brian Norman Jr. is a favorite over Devin Haney in an undercard matchup. This is a welterweight matchup and it’s one that people are also quite excited about. While it doesn’t have the same kind of hype as the main event, it’s still one that boxing fans are expecting to be quite tight and also quite entertaining.
Norman and Haney are also going to be motivated to make a ton of noise and they’re going to want to send a statement as well. Again, these fights being in Saudi Arabia makes things all the more interesting. This meeting has the potential to be much closer than the main event, as the expectation is that Haney and Norman are going to be a bit more closer in terms of the playing field.
According to the oddsmakers, Norman has been given -110 odds to post a win, while Haney has been set at +125. The over/under for this one has also been set at 9.5 rounds. Only time will tell if this one goes the distance, but plenty of analysts think that’s going to end up being the case. We could see that happening too, but we’re going to go with Norman as our pick to be victorious.
