Buffalo Bills vs Dallas Cowboys information

Season so far

The Bills opened their season in one of the most heartbreaking ways possible for a fan as they travelled to the New York Jets and fell to a 22-16 overtime defeat in week 1. Week 2 was better for them though as they bounced back with a victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in dominant fashion, claiming a 38-10 win at the Bills Stadium.

They followed that up with two more consecutive wins over the Washington Commanders 37-3 and then the Miami Dolphins 48-20, before a 25-20 defeat in London, England to the Jacksonville Jaguars snapped their streak.

Since then it’s been a mixed bag. They beat the New York Giants 14-9, but lost the next game to the New England Patriots 29-25. They bounced back again the following week with a 24-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but then lost their next two-in-a-row to the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos.

Buffalo have won two of their last three though, beating the New York Jets 32-6 and most recently the Kansas City Chiefs 20-17, but had a 37-34 overtime defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles and a bye sandwiched in the middle of those results.

Dallas on the other hand have had a fantastic season so far and has one of the best records in the entire NFL with ten wins and three defeats from their first 13 games.

They started the season with a stunning 40-0 win over the New York Giants week 1, before following up with a second win over the New York Jets 30-10 in week 2. The Cowboys then suffered their first loss of the season in a 16-28 defeat to the Arizona Cardinals, before another loss in week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers saw them get thrashed 42-10.

There was a win between those games that saw them claim a 38-3 victory over the New England Patriots. They followed that with back-to-back wins over Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams either side of their bye, before a trip to Philadelphia Eagles saw them defeated again.

Since then however they have won their last five games on the bounce, dominating with a 49-17 win over the Giants again, a 33-10 win over the Carolina Panthers, a 45-10 win over the Washington Commanders, then a brilliant 41-35 win over the Seatle Seahawks and finally a dominant 33-13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles most recently.

NFL Picks: Buffalo Bills moneyline @ -130

The Bills are back in the Wild Card chase after holding off the Chiefs last week in controversial fashion.

Buffalo held Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs to 17 points at Arrowhead to keep their hunt for a playoff place going, while the Dallas Cowboys are proved they are legitimate contenders for the crown after demolishing the Eagles at home in Week 14.

The Cowboys have won 7 of 8 and Buffalo has failed to cover at home in its past 5 games against NFC opponents. But while the Cowboys have been unstoppable at home, but they are 3-3 on the road. Buffalo has to win this game to help its playoff chances.

Dak Prescott will no doubt be in hot form, but tip the home team to get the nod in a wild shootout to keep their hopes alive.

NFL Picks: Over 49 total match points @ -110

Expect points, and plenty of them when these two teams clash at the Bills Stadium on Sunday evening.

So far this season the Cowboys are averaging 32.4 points scored per game, which ranks them as the best offense in the NFL, while they are allowing an average of 17.9 points per game this season. If those totals stay in tact, this ticket lands.

But on top that the Bills are averaging 26.8 points scored per game (5th best offense in the NFL), while defensively they are allowing 18.8 points per game.

Only three of Buffalo’s games this season have hit the 50-point mark this season, but six of the Cowboys’ games have hit the mark and with such high stakes in this game expect them both to go for it in a hugely entertaining match-up.
