While it is certainly not a topic that needs more attention, grand theft auto does occur in the United States more than people would like. Of course, SBS is not talking about the recently released trailer for the long-awaited next installment of the critically acclaimed series (GTA VI), but rather real-life thefts of automobiles in the U.S. With that in mind, BetUS recently rolled out a handful of prop betting markets related to the most stolen cars in America and which brands and how many will top the list next year. Per the site, customers can wager on numerous betting markets like which car will be most stolen in America next year (Chevrolet full-size pickups have even odds), along with a handful of other prop betting markets.

For this article, SBS will be going over what to look for from the latest gaming news coming from BetUS along with more notes and info about the online outlet.

Per one outlet and also BetUS, pickups as a whole are very much favored by thieves to be stolen around the country. For example, a recently released “Hot Wheels” report about car theft across the country noted the top ten vehicles that have been stolen. The top spot belonged to Chevrolet pickups, followed by Ford pickups at spot two. Rounding out the top three were Honda Civics followed by Honda Accords at four. There was one other pickup in the top ten, as GMC pickups locked down the number nine spot.

The BetUS betting market here very much mirrors this list as Chevrolet full-size pickups have even odds to be the most stolen car in 2024, followed by Ford trucks (+150), and GMC pick-ups (+1800). Two Honda cars round out the top five with the Civic at +2200 and the Accord at +2500. Indeed this list goes off of popular trends for car thieves across the country and what has been seen in the past couple of years.

BetUS offering multiple car wagering prop markets

As noted on its site, BetUS has two other car-boosting betting markets for its customers to sink their teeth into. The first one is how many full-size pickups will make the 2024 top 10 list of most stolen cars in the United States. Over 2.5 full-size pickups is -200 while the under comes in at +150. Of course, this is predicated on three different brands of pickup trucks making the 2023 list

The last betting market available at the site has to do with how many Hondas will make the top ten list. Mirroring the truck betting odds, over 2.5 Honda cars come in at -200, while the under alternative is marked at +150. In addition to the Civic and Accord, the Honda CR-V took home the final spot in the top ten which of course gives them over three vehicles in the top ten
