The bracket officially opens for selections on Sunday, March 17th, 2024 at 9:00 pm ET and closes on Thursday, March 21st. The Contest begins with the First Round of the 2024 Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament on Thursday, March 21st, 2024. Moreover, you can change your picks right until the start of the tournament. Also if your bracket is not completed or fully filled out by 12:30 pm ET on Thursday, March 21st, your entry will be void and eliminated from the contest.

For this contest, the round dates are as follows: First Round (March 21st-22nd), Second Round (March 23rd-24th), Sweet 16 (March 28th-29th), Elite 8 (March 30th and 31st) and Final Four (April 6th) and the National Championship (April 8th). Contestants get price breaks the more entries they buy

According to the website, contestants can enter this promotion up to 20 times and will receive a discounted rate on additional entries based on the table at the site. For instance, the first entry is $20 and then goes to $5 each from the second and third entries ($15 each), the fourth to tenth entry ($10), to 11 through 20 ($5 each). Entries may only be purchased with real cash funds and all entry purchases will be deducted from the contestant’s BetOnline cash balance. If you do not purchase all 20 entries, you can come back and purchase more entries at any time until the deadline, Thursday, March 21st, 2024.

For this promotion, participants must pick the winners of all 63 games in the 2024 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament and once those picks are made, they enter a tiebreaker prediction as well. Points are awarded for each correct pick. For the point system, you receive one point for every correct selection in the first round. After that, contestants get two points for correct picks in round two and four points for every correct pick in Sweet 16. Finally, if you select the winner of the Championship Game, you will then receive 32 points. For the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool, first place locks down a cool $50,000, while second place nets you $25,000 and third place is good for $10,000. Per the site, the top 1,250 contestants will win prizes and the cash prize pool will be divided based on the table below. For more information, check out the BetOnline promotions page.
