Following a fantastic 2025 season, the PGA Tour is back in full swing for 2026 and BetNow has some early futures on who will be taking home some major championship hardware. During the 2025 PGA Tour season, Scottie Scheffler had another remarkable campaign. Notching the most wins with six, the money list title, and also Player of the Year. While Tommy Fleetwood won the FedEx Cup, the Texan Scheffler continued his torrid pace as perhaps the best in the world. In terms of major titles, Rory McIlroy finally got the monkey off his back by winning the Masters in April. Later that year, Scheffler locked down the PGA Championship and then followed that up with a title at The Open. Finally, J.J. Spaun won the U.S. Open with a stellar showing.

For this report, SBS will be going over the latest gaming news coming from BetNow, along with a variety of other notes and information that you can only find at SBS.

Scheffler still the headliner to win the PGA Championship

Per the main site at BetNow, Scheffler is the early favorite (even in January) to win the 2026 PGA Championship at +200. The superstar won his first PGA Championship and third major by five strokes over DeChambeau, Harris English, and David Riley. Noted on the site, McIlroy is once again in the running to win the title here at +450, along with DeChambeau (+750), and Jon Rahm (+900). Indeed with such an all-star cast of players, it will be interesting to see who emerges as the champion here.

For his part, Scheffler is currently ranked world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking as of this article’s writing. It is a position he has held for over 150 weeks. He had a breakout season in 2022 where, in the span of three months, he recorded his first victory on the PGA Tour, rose to world number one, and won his first major championship at the 2022 Masters Tournament. With two major championships last year, he no doubt will be at the top of the leaderboard over numerous BetNow markets, which SBS will uncover more in this report.

Scheffler once again touted as US Open favorite

A running theme in many golf betting markets, the Texan will also be a favorite at this year’s US Open, per BetNow, at +200. A familiar trio rounds out this quarter with McIlroy (+600), DeChambeau (+750), and Rahm (+900), also being included. A strong player, the Northern Irish McIlroy is a five-time major champion and also the sixth man to complete a modern career grand slam and the first European to achieve the feat. In 2022, he became the first person to win the FedEx Cup three times. Additionally, after a ten-year drought in the majors, he won the 2025 Masters Tournament to complete the career grand slam.

Regarding the Open Championship for this year, Scheffler is once again the favorite at BetNow at +250. DeChambeau is third in the rankings here at +800. A competitor and now YouTube social media star, the native of Modesto, California, has won two major championships, the 2020 and 2024 U.S. Opens. Renowned for his analytical approaches to the sport, DeChambeau has acquired the nickname “the Scientist.” This is due to the fact that his clubs are specifically designed to his specifications, with thicker-than-normal grips and irons that are all the same length. In 2020, he became the longest driver on the PGA Tour. With 14 professional wins and counting, he is one of the most notable names on Tour with his profile rising each year.

Rahm, Schauffele among other PGA Tour favorites

While BetNow does not have markets on The Masters quite yet, there are still a few other golfers to keep an eye on. For instance, Rahm at +900 to win the PGA Championship is an interesting candidate as well, according to BetNow’s metrics. A Spanish professional golfer who plays in the LIV Golf League, Rahm is a former world number one and one of the most powerful players on Tour. He has won two major championships, including the 2021 U.S. Open and the 2023 Masters Tournament.

Finally, Schauffele is a rising star in the sport. In 2017, he had a stellar inaugural season on the PGA Tour, winning two events, including the Tour Championship, and earning Rookie of the Year honors. In 2024, he had his best season, winning two major championships, the PGA Championship and the Open Championship, while ascending to the No. 2 spot in the world
