The 2023 college football season is a little over a month away, but that has not stopped online sportsbooks, especially BetNow, from revving up the football engines. Per a recent report and their website, BetNow has released conference championship odds for all Division I conferences from the ACC to the Sun Belt. Indeed between mid-majors and the Power Five conferences, there’s a ton of action to be had this season in college football. A lot of familiar favorites will dot the different betting markets here, but there are also some up-and-coming teams that could make waves this season.

In this article, SBS will be going over what to look for from the latest betting news at BetNow along with more notes and information about using the website.

BetNow thinks Georgia will reign again in the SEC

For the Power Five conferences, some of college football’s heavy hitters will be set for a big year again in 2023. Per the same report, BetNow thinks Georgia will be the top “dawg” once again in the Southeastern Conference at -115. Meanwhile, Nick Saban’s Alabama squad is registered at +250. Meanwhile, in the Big Ten, Michigan (+180) and Ohio State (+160) are once again vying for the top spot in what should be another excellent season. For interested parties, Rutgers and Purdue are the long-shots here at +10000.

On the west coast, in the swan song seasons for USC and UCLA in the Pac-12, the Trojans are the favorites to win the conference at +210. Conversely, the Bruins have decent odds as well at +800 but are behind the likes of Washington (+300) and Oregon (+325). Another interesting race to keep an eye on is the push for the Big 12 Championship with historical favorites Texas (+110) and Oklahoma (+325) being recognized as the top picks. Another sneaky contender here though is Kansas State at +550.

Clemson and Florida State set for ACC showdown

In the final Power Five spotlight, Clemson (+125) and Florida State (+190) are the top choices to square off for the ACC Championship. The former has national title aspirations and has dominated the ACC with the Seminoles playing not up to their usual standards. The dark horse pick though in this conference per one report is Miami (FL) at +1800. While the Hurricanes are far removed from their heyday of the 1980s and early 2000s, there is still some mystique around the program.

Finally, in terms of mid-major contenders, there are a couple of standouts. In Conference USA, Western Kentucky has aligned itself as the team to beat with a betting line of +140 to win the conference crown. Meanwhile in the MAC, the Toledo Rockets have quietly asserted themselves as the top squad at +175. Finally, for fans of the Sun Belt, BetNow has South Alabama (+250) as a slight favorite over Troy (+300) to become conference champions.
