The former has national title aspirations and has dominated the ACC with the Seminoles playing not up to their usual standards. The dark horse pick though in this conference per one report is Miami (FL) at +1800. While the Hurricanes are far removed from their heyday of the 1980s and early 2000s, there is still some mystique around the program.
Finally, in terms of mid-major contenders, there are a couple of standouts. In Conference USA, Western Kentucky has aligned itself as the team to beat with a betting line of +140 to win the conference crown. Meanwhile in the MAC, the Toledo Rockets have quietly asserted themselves as the top squad at +175. Finally, for fans of the Sun Belt, BetNow has South Alabama (+250) as a slight favorite over Troy (+300) to become conference champions.
