xbet betting news may 2025

In a league dominated by top-flight quarterbacks, XBet’s latest futures market on who will be the 2025 NFL MVP is filled with excellent signal-callers. Per the site, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is the slight favorite to take home the award this upcoming season at +520. Meanwhile, Buffalo’s Josh Allen trails at +570 even though he is also coming off an awesome campaign last season. Rounding out the top four are two other players who need little introduction in Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow (+630) and Chiefs stalwart Patrick Mahomes (+660). Indeed, with all of these quarterbacks duking it out in the AFC, it would appear that one can at least feel confident that the MVP will emerge from this conference this upcoming NFL season.

For this report, SBS will be going over what to look for from the latest gaming news and notes coming from XBet, along with some additional thoughts and updates from SBS and beyond.

Jackson is aiming for more history in 2025

Noted in other reports, the Ravens quarterback is perhaps the best dual-threat player in NFL history. Winner of the Heisman Trophy in 2016, he is already a two-time recipient of the NFL MVP award and also the all-time leader in quarterback rushing yards. In fact, he is already regarded as one of the best quarterbacks of his generation along with being touted by some as the best dual-threat quarterback of all time

After a breakout season in 2020 when he led the Bills to their first division title and playoff victory since 1995, Allen has been an unstoppable force for Buffalo. Per reports, he has set the Bills franchise record for single-season passing yards and touchdowns, while earning Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors. Additionally, in 2024, he won the NFL MVP Award, becoming the first Bills player to win it since Thurman Thomas did so in 1991, and the first Bills quarterback to win an NFL MVP award.

Mahomes, Burrow are two other contenders

Like the other players on this list, the two next contenders from XBet are about as good as they come, with one of them potentially in the conversation for greatest of all time if he continues his trajectory. A tremendous athlete, Mahomes has led the Chiefs to seven consecutive AFC Championship game appearances and five Super Bowl appearances since becoming their starting quarterback in 2018. Additionally, he is one of five quarterbacks in NFL history to win three or more Super Bowls as a starter, and he is also often regarded as the best quarterback of his generation. Moreover, many sources have consistently ranked him as the best quarterback in the league, ahead of Jackson and Allen.

Another Heisman Trophy winner, Burrow was selected by the Bengals with the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and has been stellar for them. Despite Cincinnati missing the playoffs in 2024, Burrow led the league in passing yards and touchdowns and was awarded his second Comeback Player of the Year Award. Prior to last year, the former LSU Tiger had a breakout season in 2021 when he led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, and an appearance in Super Bowl LVI.

Herbert, Daniels could be MVP dark horses

Wrapping up the market report from XBet, the first NFC quarterback appears in the form of Washington’s Jayden Daniels (+810), who is a burgeoning star in the league. Daniels was selected by the Commanders with the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Additionally, his rookie season is regarded among the greatest in NFL history, with him named Offensive Rookie of the Year after setting the rookie quarterback record for rushing yards in a season. In the process, he led the Commanders to their most wins in a season and their first NFC Championship Game appearance since 1991.

Finally, Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (+1875) is someone who could make a surprising run if the Bolts have an excellent campaign under coach Jim Harbaugh. Following his first year in the league, he was named the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year for his performance and in 2021, he became the first quarterback in Chargers history to throw for over 5,000 yards and was named to his first Pro Bowl. With a revamped cast of playmakers following a surprising playoff campaign last year, the Chargers are in a great spot if they can somehow get past Kansas City in the division and find consistent success against the AFC’s elite.
