James Franklin is in charge for a 12th season at Beaver Stadium, and the team have had the perfect start to their campaign in the Big Ten.
The opening game of the season saw the Nittany Lions take on the Alabama Wolf Pack as they put in a top performance to claim an exciting 46-11 victory in front of over 106,000 fans. In a one-sided thrashing, Penn State were 27-3 up at half-time but didn’t take their foot off the gas, as Drew Allar and Kaytron Allen shone.
That was followed up in week two with a sensational performance against the FIU Panthers, as Penn State put in a top defensive showing to earn a 34-0 shutout victory with Allar scoring two touchdowns and Allen getting 16 carries and a touchdown of his own.
Penn State had their best performance yet in week three last time out however, as they took on the Villanova Wildcats at home and put together a fantastic offensive performance, winning 52-6, as they kept another defensive shutout through the first three quarters.

The Ducks have come into the new season with Dan Lanning in charge of his fourth season, and they are in fantastic form heading into this match up.
Week 1 saw Oregon take on the Montana State Bobcats in a highly anticipated game at Autzen Stadium, and they didn’t disappoint with a fantastic performance that saw them walk away as 59-13 winners. The team started fast as they scored 38 points compared to Montana’s three in the first half, before the third quarter saw them outscore their opponents 14-3 once more in a top offensive display.
The team then followed that up with another emphatic victory in week 2 as they took on the Oklahoma State Cowboys and completely dismantled them 69-3. While the Cowboys scored just three points in the second quarter, the Ducks managed 20, 21, and 28 respectively in the first three quarters before a scoreless fourth, as Dante Moore, Gary Bryant Jr, and Noah Whittington shone in particular.
Their next game saw another victory with a 34-14 win over the Northwestern Wildcats, but the team showed a worrying collapse in the fourth quarter as they allowed all 14 points to be scored against them. Thankfully, it came after a strong first three quarters, and they claimed a comfortable victory.
Last time out, Oregon moved to 4-0 with another dominant victory against their local rivals, Oregon State, as they thrashed their opponents 41-7 to keep up their phenomenal scoring and defensive records for the season so far.
Oregon have been a dominant force on the road in recent times, with an 8-0 SU streak and a 5-3 streak against the spread over their last eight games.
Penn State comes into this game in fine form themselves, and they also have the added bonus of the fact that they had a bye last week, which means they will be well rested and extra prepared for this big clash.
The quarterback match up in this one is very interesting too, with both guys flying. Dante Moore has 11 touchdowns and one pick so far, although most of the opponents have had very soft defenses. Drew Allar on the other hand has been more inconsistent, with just four touchdowns and a single interception in his outings.
Oregon’s run defense hasn’t been the most impressive either when coming up against a proper rushing team, as seen by the 144 yards they gave up against Oklahoma State compared to the 67 yards against Oregon State.
So far this season the teams have been scoring freely and steamrolling their opponents, but this is the first real test either team will face in this campaign. It means a big scoring game is far less likely, with both defenses likely to be on point and the offenses unlikely to have so much freedom.
This game is two of the top three defenses in the country so far this season, and Penn State have gone Under the total in their last three games after they had a bye. The 52.5 point total is quite high, so take the Under here and claim your profit while the value is still there at -110.
