Below you’ll find a list of the favorites to win the 2025 Moto GP world championship.
The current leader of the World Championship standings and a former six-time world champion, can anyone catch Marc Marquez this season? Probably not.
The legendary Spaniard has dominated the 2025 season with eight wins from 12 races, while he also finished on the podium in two other races, to prove that he is by far the best rider on the track these days.
It’s also clear that alongside his teammate Francesco Bagnaia, they have the best bike on the track with Ducati, and he has been able to fine tune it to make it work best for him, and it seems inevitable now that he gets a seventh world title this season.
It’s quite clearly Marquez’s title to lose this season, and it would take an almighty collapse for him to not claim it at the end of the year. But with odds of -25000, there is zero value in backing him to win it.

One of the best riders in the world, and yet he is constantly in the shadow of his brother and is being stopped from his success by his own blood.
The younger Marquez brother claimed the first race win of his career earlier this season back in his homeland, and he has finished on the podium 12 times in his career – including seven times this season, where he finished as runner-up each time, barring his sole victory.
He is riding better than he ever has before, and he has been incredibly competitive during the campaign, but the greatness of his brother has prevented him from really putting a push together to claim his first world title.
He’s finally showing the consistency needed to be among the top of the standings, but he’s just too far behind even though we’re only just past the halfway point of the season. If anyone is going to capitalise on a collapse from Marc, it’s Alex, and odds of +2500 are good too.
After a difficult season in 2024, Bagnaia has also struggled in 2025. 2024 saw the Italian pushing for a third consecutive world title, and despite winning the opening six races of the season, and the final three races, he was pipped to the title by Jorge Martin.
Now in 2025, Bagnaia has managed just a single race victory, at the Grand Prix of the Americas, but he has also been competitive in most races. Of the 11 other races this season, the 28-year-old has finished in the top four in nine of them, with podium finishes in six.
Bagnaia is without a doubt one of the very best riders in the world, and he is always in contention for a win. Riding the same bike as Marquez gives him a big edge over the rest of the field, but he just hasn’t managed to get the same performance as his teammate.
There is still ten races to go this season, and considering he is on the same bike as the Championship leader he should always be right in the mix. At odds of +3300, there is great value in backing him to be able to react and pounce if his teammate has trouble and falls away from the top.
