With that said, Jannik Sinner is our pick to win Wimbledon 2025. Will he manage to get the job done?
It goes without saying, but Sinner is motivated to win the title after how things went for him at the French Open. In the final against Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz, Sinner won the first two sets and it looked like he was going to cruise to a win. He even had several championship points on the table. However, Alcaraz recorded an unreal comeback win – it’s something that surely haunts Sinner to this day.

With that loss in the past, Sinner is ready to move forward. According to the best betting sites, Sinner holds +175 tennis betting odds to win Wimbledon this year. There are plenty of other contenders ready to try and make sure he doesn’t win, though. From our chair, it’s going to be tough to take down the loaded field, but we’re sticking with our guns. Yup, Sinner is our pick to win the championship this time around.
As you might have been able to guess, Carlos Alcaraz is actually the favorite to win Wimbledon this year. People are still talking about his historic performance at the French Open, as he was able to stay alive against Sinner and then do the unthinkable to post his come-from-behind win. That performance with the rest of the world watching has surely given him a ton of confidence moving forward.
“It is amazing the level you have,” Alcaraz told Sinner. “Congratulations for an amazing two weeks, amazing tournament. To you, to your team, I know the hard work you’re putting in every day. It’s huge. Honestly, I know how hard you’re chasing this tournament or every tournament. I’m pretty sure you’re going to be champion, not once, but many, many times. While much of the focus is going to Sinner and Alcaraz, keep in mind that there are other top contenders to keep an eye on at Wimbledon. The list no question includes Novak Djokovic, Jack Draper, Taylor Fritz and plenty of others. It’s no shocker at all that Djokovic is also getting plenty of attention with Wimbledon here.
While Alcaraz and Sinner are widely considered the two best players on the planet, you can’t forget about the tremendous experience that Djokovic has. He’s without question one of the best players of his generation and he’s got the titles at major events to back that up.
Over the next few weeks in London, Djokovic is going to be ready to make a statement. He’ll be ready to go on a deep run too, which can be said for Draper and Fritz as well. Sinner and Alcaraz will both be ready for all three of those guys to bring their best should they end up meeting in the near future.
