Come July 19, boxing fans across the planet are going to be fired up to see how things are going to go down between Daniel Dubois and Oleksandr Usyk for the second time. Two years ago, Usyk had no issues going up against Dubois, taking him down in the ninth round. From that moment, though, Dubois has been motivated for revenge. With that said, Daniel Dubois is hoping to pull off an upset vs. Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch.
Will he be able to get that job done? Things of course aren’t going to be easy there, as Usyk has proven on several different occasions that he’s one of the best fighters on the planet. His work against Tyson Fury is something that can’t be forgotten. It’s no surprise that he’s a heavy favorite against Dubois. However, the underdog could care less about the odds – he’s ready to stun the rest of the world later this month.

“These Ukrainians, they do all his mind work and mind control stuff, so I just need to be right physically, spiritually and that will be enough on the night,” Dubois said in a presser. He’s always in that [mind games]. I think he’s a boring guy. He is at home doing his mind (expletive). You got to just beat him in a ring.”
The odds have been moving around a bit according to the top boxing betting sites out there, but Dubois indeed is a big-time underdog for this one. The best betting sites have him listed at around +275, which shows just how much of a favorite Usyk is. Will Dubois be able to pull off one of the biggest wins of the year in the sport, or will Usyk have no issues once again in this one? We’re going with the latter.

The thing that makes Usyk so dangerous is that he can take you down at any moment because of his unreal power. When he matched up against Fury, the size difference stood out. However, Usyk didn’t let that alter his mindset one bit.
“Fireworks, it’s going to be bombs away on the night,” Dubois told Sky Sports in an interview in June. “I’m going to be the one throwing the bombs, coming through whatever I’ve got to come through. I’m not going to be denied.”

Dubois is going to be more careful on the defensive end, but it won’t matter much. We’re rocking with a TKO on the way for Usyk, who will surely have his hand raised by the ref once July 19 gets here.
