In a change of events for the website, BetUS, instead of showcasing its unusual betting markets, has rolled out a fan survey for March Madness’ favorite snacks. Per a recent press release from the website, BetUS has said they are looking for ways to enhance the fan experience and that’s why they have “conducted a survey of basketball fans across the country to find out what their favorite food, snacks, and drinks are while watching the games.” According to the report, most basketball fans say they usually watch their favorite games eating chicken wings, chips and dip, and tacos. In this case, BetUS says that the preferred type of snack is chicken wings, with nearly 30% of correspondents choosing this option.

In this article, SBS will be going over the latest gaming news coming from BetUS and also some more thoughts about using the website.

Fan survey indicates that wings are the preferred choice

Per the BetUS official survey results and press release, the most preferred type of snack is chicken wings as 30% of fans selected this option. Moreover, the second favorite choice among voters was pizza with approximately 22% of fans selecting this option. Rounding out the list of options were tacos at 12%, followed by chips at 10%, mozzarella sticks (8%), and finally chicken bites at 7%. For this particular survey, there was also some discrepancy in terms of favorite snack items by age range. For example, those aged 18-29 picked tacos as their most preferred snack during March Madness at a whopping 30%. This was followed by chicken wings (24%), pizza (18%), and finally chips and dip at 10%.

Moving on to the other age brackets, the top pick for the 30-55 age range was also chicken wings at 29%. Following that result were, in order, chips and dip, pizza, and mozzarella sticks. Finally, for those that are aged 56 and older, the three most preferred options were chicken wings (22%), pizza (16%), and chicken bites (12%). As evidenced by the reports above, it would appear that wings are certainly king when it comes to March Madness snacks and food.

BetUS also surveyed fans about their favorites beverages

Per the same press release from the online sportsbook, beer, and soda happen to be the drinks of choice for fans, which is no surprise for many. What was interesting though, as pointed out in the survey, is that few fans combine watching basketball with drinking “stronger spirits.” For men in this survey, men said their top pick on this list was beer at 40%, followed by soda (39%). This result was the opposite for the women polled in the survey as 61% opted for soda, while only 16% selected beer. Finally, the data in this survey consisted of 9,851 respondents and was conducted between February 20th to 24th of this year.
