    • Kansas City Chiefs are +600 favorites to win back-to-back Super Bowls
    • Buffalo Bills are the +120 favorites to win the AFC East despite dominance from New England Patriots
    • Last year's losing Super Bowl finalists San Francisco 49ers are +400 to be the NFC champions
    • Patrick Mahomes is +350 to win the NFL's MVP award. Reigning MVP Lamar Jackson is +800
    • Joe Burrow is the +250 favorite to be crowned the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year

    Super Bowl LV Predictions

    baltimore

The 2020-21 Super Bowl LV is way off in the distance with February 7th penciled in as the date the greatest show on Earth takes place. This makes predicting the Super Bowl champions difficult, but we can make a pretty solid educated guess.

Odds to win the Super Bowl 2021 bovada wagerweb betonline

    Kansas City Chiefs

    +600 +600 +650

    Baltimore Ravens

    +650 +650 +700

    New Orleans Saints

    +1200 +1200 +1200

    San Francisco 49ers

    +1200 +1200 +1200

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    +1200 +1200 +1300

Reigning champions Kansas City Chiefs (+600) are the narrow early favorites. The Chiefs have an exceptional roster and one of the best quarterbacks in Patrick Mahomes. Three of the Chiefs' four games are against defending divisional champions, which is a tough start.

Baltimore Ravens are +650 second-favorites for Super Bowl glory. The Ravens were the best regular-season team (14-2) last year. They also have the easiest schedule this year with their opponents having a combined 32 games under .500 last season.

Pick: Baltimore Ravens to win the Super Bowl LV

    AFC Champion Picks

Again, it's the Chiefs and Ravens who are the favorites with odds of +300 and +325 respectively. Both teams have what it takes to go all the way this season but we have to opt for the Ravens here.

    Kansas City Chiefs

    +300 +300 +300

    Baltimore Ravens

    +350 +350 +350

    Buffalo Bills

    +1000 +1000 +1000

As mentioned, the Ravens have, on paper, the easiest schedule across every team this season. They still have to beat those teams in front of you but it's naturally easier to beat lesser teams. The Chiefs have a tough start. If, and it's a big if, they come through those first four games with three victories, I can't see anything stopping them. But we're placing our futures bets now and that means the Ravens get our vote.

Pick: Baltimore Ravens to be the AFC Champions at +325

    NFC Champion Picks

The NFC is more open than the AFC with three teams likely to be up there. San Francisco 49ers (+400) are the favorites to be NFC Champions, but New Orleans Saints (+500) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+500) will push them all the way.

Odds to win the NFC 2021 bovada wagerweb betonline

    San Francisco 49ers

    +400 +450 +420

    New Orleans Saints

    +500 +480 +490

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    +500 +510 +550

It's difficult to look past the 49ers. Signing wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk gives them more offensive options, but losing defensive tackle DeForest Buckner will be a big loss.

The Saints have possibly the best roster in the entire NFL. They have some big games this season, one of which being against the 49ers. Whoever wins that game will likely be NFC champions. We predict Saints will go 12-4 and that should be enough.

Pick: New Orleans Saints to be NFC Champions at +500

Patrick Mahomes to Win the MVP Award

    Patrick Mahomes

    +350 +300 +350

    Lamar Jackson

    +750 +650 +800

    Russell Wilson

    +1000 +1100 +1000

We'd bet our house on the fact Patrick Mahomes will be this season's MVP. Bovada's futures odds of +350 reflect this. The Chiefs' quarterback has the potential to be the GOAT. He won the award in 2018 and could easily have done it again in 2019. Mahomes was the main reason Chiefs are reigning Super Bowl champions.

Baltimore's QB was the unanimous winner of the 2019 MVP award. The 23-year-old is turning into an elite player. He had 43 a season-best 43 touchdown too.

Mahomes is going to shine this year and he's our pick.

Pick: Patrick Mahomes to win the AP MVP Award at +350

    NFL Coach of the Year

The Coach of the Year award is a strange one. Voters give a lot of credit to the coach of the winning Super Bowl team, for obvious reasons, but they also recognize if a coach gets the most out of his players and his team overperforms.

NFL Coach of the Year Odds bovada wagerweb betonline

    Bill Belichick

    +950 +1000 +1100

    Sean Payton

    +2200 +2000 +2300

    John Harbaugh

    +2200 +2100 +2150

Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots is the current +950 favorite. This is as close to nailed on as you can get in this market because Kyle Shanahan of the 49ers is the nearest with +1600 odds.

Belichick has an advantage as the Patriots aren't the same team as they once were. A decent winning season with a playoff run is going to see him walk away with the title.

Sean Payton of the Chiefs and John Harbaugh of the Ravens are available at +2200. We like the looks of these despite the fact both teams are expected to perform well. The Ravens would have to go at least 13-3 AND win the Super Bowl for Harbaugh to win back-to-back awards, but we think they can and will.

Pick: John Harbaugh to win the NFL Coach of the Year at +2200

    Offensive Rookie of the Year

This category is super exciting as some of the drafted players have exceptional talent to say the least.

Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds bovada wagerweb betonline

    Joe Burrow

    +250 +300 +200

    Jonathan Taylor

    +925 +1000 +950

    Tua Tagovailoa

    +1000 +1500 +1750

Joe Burrow is likely to be thrown in at the deep end and will be the Cincinnati Bengals' starting quarterback. Burrow broke the NCAA record for a QB rating (202.0) and touchdowns (60) while leading the NCAA in pass completions (76.3) and yards (5,671).

The overall number one pick has to step up and the Bengals aren't the best team to do this with, but he will be the team's shining light. Any sort of positive season should see Burrow win this award.

Indianapolis Colts' new running back Jonathan Taylor (+925) is a decent outside bet, as is Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins (+1000). Tagovailoa is rated more highly than Burrow, but there are question marks over his fitness.

Pick: Joe Burrow to win the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award at +250
