UFC 245 is set to take place in the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on December 14 and what an incredible card it is. The headline bout sees Kamaru Usman take on Colby Covington for the welterweight title and Usman is the favorite to retain his title.
Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Goes Down to the Wire
What a fantastic 2019 NASCAR season it has been. As the final race of the season approaches, four drivers are tied on the same number of points, meaning whoever wins the Ford EcoBoost 400 wins the 2019 NASCAR title! The excitement is incredible, here are our thoughts.
Whoever wins the Ford EcoBoost 400 on November 17th will be crowned the 2019 NASCAR champion, it’s as simple as that.
Four drivers are tied on 5,000 points and current NASCAR odds suggest Kyle Busch or Martin Truex Jr will be crowned the 2019 champion, although there is little to choose between the quartet.
- Kyle Busch has Bovada NASCAR odds of +250
- Bovada price Martin Truex Jr as the +250 joint-favorite.
- Denny Hamlin is the +260 second-favorite to win the 2019 NASCAR championship
- Third-favorite, with odds of +275, is Kevin Harvick
History is on Denny Hamlin’s Side
Can you remember such an exciting finale to the NASCAR season? This final race is going to be nothing short of incredible with four drivers able to secure the 2019 NASCAR Monster Energy championship.
Victory for either Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr, Kevin Harvick or Denny Hamlin guaranteed the title. Although, any driver who finishes before any of the others will also be crowned champion.
History favours Denny Hamlin, even if the NASCAR Final 4 Odds do not reflect this. Our friends at Bovada, where you can claim a $250 bonus to bet on this race, price a Hamlin victory at +260, making him the third-favorite.
Hamlin has hit form again at the right time and we think he could be the man to beat in the Ford EcoBoost 400 on November 17th. Hamlin has started in pole position in two of the last six races, led for the most laps in three of those six, and won two of them.
The Florida native has also won the Ford EcoBoost 400 twice in his career, once in 2009 and again in 2013. Hamlin has never won the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series during his 15-year career (he finished second in 2010) but this could finally be the time he changes that fact.
If You Want Experience, Go With Kyle Busch
All four drivers vying for the title are able to handle the pressure of such a massive race, but maybe none of them can do it as well as Kyle Busch, who has current NASCAR odds of +250 making him the joint-favorite.
Busch, known as “Wild Thing” because of his crazy driving style, won this race in 2015. Busch won the title in 2015, third in 2016, was the runner-up in 2017 and came fourth last year. Perhaps worrisome for fans of Busch, he hasn’t won a race since Round 14, the Pocono 400. he has, however, led for the most laps eight times this season, he just needs those leads to hold.
Is This Martin Truex Jr’s Year? It Could Be
Martin Truex Jr has Bovada NASCAR odds of +250, making his the joint favorite for the title with Kyle Busch. If we had to choose between these two amazing drivers, we’d have to go with Turex Jr based purely on form.
Truex Jr won the championship in 2017 and finished as its runner-up last year in 2018. Now he has a realistic opportunity to win his second title in three years.
Anything can happen on race day, so make sure you’re following proper bankroll management if you’re betting on this race, but Truex Jr seems to be flying right now. He won both the South Point 400 and Federated Auto Parts 400 in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Round of 16 then won the First Data 500 in the Round of 8.
It is also worth noting that while Truex Jr won the Ford EcoBoost 400 in 2017 in a time of 3:02.11, the third-fastest time ever recorded at the track. Also, Truex Jr’s car is powered by Toyota and their cars have finished first on the podium in three of the last six races at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Don’t Write Off Kevin Harvick’s Chances
It would be easy to forget about Kevin Harvick as he is the +275 outsider with Bovada, but when the favorites are priced at +250 there is nothing between the drivers.
Harvick won his one and only championship in 2014 which, incidentally, is when he won the Ford EcoBoost 400. he is also the third-winningest driver in NASCAR history with 47 victories under his belt.
The Californian’s best chances of victory in this race, and therefore in the race for the championship, is to start the race in pole position. Harvick started on pole, led for the most laps and won the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard in the 26th race of the season. He replicated that more recently in the AAA Texas 500 during the Round of 8 despite receiving a pit road penalty.
Do your research, bet wisely and good luck in the final NASCAR event of the season. We’re going for Martin Truex Jr, which driver are you betting on? Whoever it is, make sure you use one of these trusted sportsbooks so you can get your hands on a bonus.
