As a holder of five MLS Cups, four Supporters' Shields, and a CONCACAF Champions' Cup title, LA Galaxy are one of the most decorated MLS teams. The Galaxy were one of the MLS' ten charter teams. The name "Galaxy" is a reference to Hollywood - the home of the stars. LA showed how much stellar talent they had throughout their ranks from the debut season when the made it all the way to the MLS Cup final. Each season LA are amongst the favorites to lift the coveted trophy, showing how high expectations are.
Galaxy won MLS Cups in 2002 and 2005, both of which ending in 1-0 victories over the New England Revolution. Cobi Jones - the all-time leader in caps for the US National Team - made his stint with the Galaxy count during his time in La La Land.
The 2005 season marked the entry of yet another all-time great, Landon Donovan, to the already famed Galaxy. With 144 MLS goals, Donovan remains the all-time leading scorer in the MLS. Today, the Landon Donovan MVP Award recognizes the league's most valuable player every season.
After an illustrious decade, disappointment came during 2006-2008 seasons, when the Galaxy failed to make a single postseason appearance. LA made the big move required by signing one of the most familiar faces in the soccer world - David Beckham. A former legend of the Premier League's Manchester United, Beckham captured significant attention from local fans and media.
Beckham helped LA to three more MLS Cups in 2011, 2012, and 2014, allowing the Galaxy to top all MLS franchises for the most championship titles.

How To Win At LA Galaxy Betting
LA Galaxy are entering a new phase in the aftermath of losing Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane, two of the club's most important players. But LA have lost great players before and won't use the loss of marquee players as an excuse.
In 2016, Galaxy finished third in the Western Conference, crucially obtaining home field advantage in the playoffs. Galaxy lost only six of 34 matches in 2016, but dropped way too many points due to draws. They tied a league-high 16 games and would have surely finished first in the West had it not been for so many draws.
Extremely strong at home, Galaxy lost only one game StubHub Center and is almost guranteed at least a point when playing in LA. However, Galaxy struggled mightily to win on the road, only winning four of 17 away fixtures. They only lost five but drew eight times in enemy territory, another Western Conference high.
Look to back the over in Galaxy matches, as LA scored the most goals, 54, in the Western Conference. Additionally, LA enjoyed a great defensive record, allowing 39 goals, the second fewest in the West. Even without Gerrard and Keane, Galaxy are still a good futures bet. If they can turn a few draws into wins, the team from La La Land should challenge for Western Conference supremacy.
And once the playoffs start, LA is always in with a shot to make the MLS Cup final.
