Best New England Revolution Betting Sites

One of MLS’ charter clubs, New England Revolution play their home games at Gillette Stadium and are well supported despite the fact they have never won a major domestic league trophy. They have, however, come very close. New England have reached the MLS Cup final five times, in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2014, but lost each and every one, an unwanted record that earned them the titile of Buffalo Bills of the MLS.

How To Win At New England Revolution Betting

New England didn’t qualify for the playoffs in 2016, but boy were they close. The Revs finished tied on points with Union but were nudged out of playoff contention due to the tiebreaker. It was a devastating way to prematurely finish their season.

They have their awful away record to blame for missing the postseason. New England won two away games all season. They only took 11 from 51 away points, eradicating any chane of extending their season. As expected, New England had no trouble brushing the opposition aside at home but their nine home wins weren’t quite enough to bridge the gap.

New England took 31 from 51 home points, showing they’re a force to be reckoned with when playing in front of a heavily biased Revs fan base. New England had a middle-of-the-road defense but struggled mightily offensively. Their 44 goals were the second lowest in the Eastern Conference. Only the lowly Chicago Fire scored fewer. Fire scored 42 goals in 34 games.

Until they figure out how to score, think about backing the under market. However, the Eastern Conference is significantly more offensive minded so take that into consideration.

Avoid backing New England as futures bets until they show a bit more resilience and guile on the road. They need to show a bit more fight in tough situations to be considered an MLS Cup contender. But first thing’s first: they need to qualify for the postseason as a stepping stone in 2017.
