The Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl XLVIII and have won three of the last four division titles. They are the real deal and have one of the most raucous fan bases in the NFL to thank for some of their success. The Seahawks are lifted by 'The 12th Man', at home. Seahawks' fans have set a world record for crowd noise at a sporting event, which is yet to be beaten. Their on-field product matches the vociferous nature of their fans, making this franchise a force to be reckoned with in seasons to come.  [+]

Following their 2013 Super Bowl Success, when they defeated the Denver Broncos 43-8 in a staggering performance that demonstrated their defensive prowess, the Seahawks became the only team in post-merger history to reach consecutive Super Bowls. The Seahawks faced the New England Patriots in 2014, however, Marshawn Lynch was unable to help them to victory as the Patriots triumphed 28-24.

The Arizona Cardinals took the NFC West crown in 2016 but the Seahawks were back on top in the 2016-17 seeson, losing a heart breaking playoff game to Atlanta, the eventual finalists.

How To Win At Seattle Seahawks Betting

The Seahawks, in a fairly weak NFC West, are once again favored to come out of the division on top. Led by pivot Russell Wilson, Seattle should once again reign supreme in the West. Back the Seahawks in the futures market to win the NFC West but be wary of further expectations.

As expected, Seattle were extremely hard to beat at Century Link Field, losing only one of eight home games in 2016-17. Feel confident about backing Seattle at home, no matter who they host. It's an entirely different story on the road, though. Seattle went 3-4-1 on their travels and struggled in most away games. Surprisingly, they also struggled against divisional opponents, going 3-2-1 vs. the Rams, Cardinals and 49ers. Those aren't exactly convincing numbers against subpar adversaries.

They did, however, run the table against AFC teams, winning all four games.

The team's 22 points per game put Seattle's offense right in the middle of the pack in that particular offensive category. Everyone knows where they are strongest, though. Seattle has one of the best defensive units in the NFL, evinced by the paltry 18.2 points per game they conceded. As a general rule of thumb, look to bet the under in most Seattle games, as this team relies heavily on their defense keeping things tight.

The Seattle Seahawks are very likely to have a winning season and you should back them to outscore their opponents in high-scoring games often, especially on the road against either the San Francisco 49ers or Los Angeles Rams.
