NFC North title since 2009 in week 17 with a victory over the Green Bay Packers. This set up a Wild Card game with the Seattle Seahawks. The Vikings went on to lose the game 10-9 with Kicker Blair Walsh missing a game-winning 27-yard field goal in the final seconds of the game.

They started with a mediocre 2-2 record followed by a bye in week five. In week six, Minnesota beat the Kansas City Chiefs 16-10, a victory that kick started a five-game winning streak, the foundation of their title winning season.

Rookie wide receiver Stefon Diggs got off to a flier at Minnesota. The fifth-round draft pick looked right at home with the other starters and is likely to be QB Teddy Bridgewater's main target in coming seasons. Diggs ended the season with 52 receptions for 720 yards, both of which were team-leading stats.

How To Win At Minnesota Vikings Betting

The Vikings had an excellent 2015 campaign, making the playoffs and winning the division title, something that they had not done in recent campaigns. Dynamic on offense, the Vikings rely heavily on their ground attack and all-star running back Adrian Peterson.

The Vikings finished fourth in the league on 138.2 yards per game on the ground. Minnesota was average across the board on the defensive side of the ball, allowing 344.2 total yards, 234.9 passing yards and 109.2 rushing yards.

Running back Adrian Peterson carried the ball over 300 times in 2015, the only man to do so. He rushed for a league best 1,485 yards and scored 11 touchdowns on the ground. Peterson was the X Factor in Minnesota's offense.

Teddy Bridgewater completed his second season in the NFL in 2015 and is more than holding his own thus far. He started every game in the season and barring injury is likely to do the same going forward. He ended the 2015 campaign on 3,231 yards, 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions. If he can improve on these numbers going forward, the Vikings have a lot to be excited about.

The Vikings are improving year on year it seems and this should lead to some excellent opportunities in the futures markets. We expect them to establish themselves as a playoff team going forward. With an explosive offense, we reckon you should take the overs play on a frequent basis.
