Best Philadelphia Eagles Betting Sites

The Philadelphia Eagles are building their team around franchise asset Carson Wentz. Wentz enjoyed an incredibly successful rookie season. Though his numbers tailed off toward the end of the 2016-17 season, Wentz set a rookie record for most completions in a season (379) while posting the fourth most passing yards for a first-year pivot (3,782). Suffice to say it was a prodigious first kick of the NFL can for the pivot out of North Dakota State. He is the man that has to lead Philadelphia to the Promise Land. It’s now up to the club to build a team around the inexperienced phenom.

How to Make Win At Philadelphia Eagles Betting

All things considered, the Philadelphia Eagles, even though they didn’t make the 2016-17 playoffs, had a decent season. Wentz dominated the backfield, and will be a force to be reckoned with in coming seasons. The Eagles aren’t good enough to challenge for a playoff spot in the coming season, though.

Expcet the Eagles to finish third in an ultra-competitive NFC East. The Giants and Cowboys will invariably finish ahead of Philadelphia, at least in the short term. The Eagles finised rock bottom of the division in 2016-17 after a great start to the campaign. They can blame their dismal away record for missing out on the postseason. Finishing 1-7 on the road, the Eagles were only better away than the Browns and Bears. Those type of numbers guarantee a premature end to any season.

Dominant at home, the Eagles won six of eight games in Philly. They’re in with a chance at qualifying for the playoffs if they can maintain their home dominance while winning a few more on the road. That sounds like too much of a perfect storm to us.

Philadelphia also finished with the worst record against fellow NFC East teams, losing four of six divisional games. Their defense was actually pretty good, as Philly allowed 20.7 points per game, ranking in the top third of NFL teams.

Offensively, the Eagles scored 22.9 points per game, the 16th most in the league. Those numbers aren’t particularly staggering. Philly will have to score more points to allow their defense a bit more breathing room. Avoid Eagles’ futures bets for the coming season but keep an eye on this team as they will be favorites, if Wentz continues to progress, to win the divsion in a few years.
