The AFC South is one of the most even divisions in the NFL. With no elite teams, the division crown is always up for grabs. Having said that, the Texans, by the skin of their teeth, have been the story of the division in recent years. That could all change with the parity in the division, though. Big things are expected from the Colts and Titans in coming seasons, while the Jaguars are the only AFC South team who are currentlly regressing. It’s an intriguing division, one that will offer a lot of twists and turns in future seasons.

How To Win At AFC South Betting
The 2016 season went down to the wire in the AFC South. Houston won the division for the second year running thanks to the tiebreaker, pipping the Titans at the line. Both teams finished the 2016 season with 9-7 records. Houston, however, dominated games against fellow AFC South teams. They went 5-1 against divisional opponents in 2016. If that happens again in coming seasons, lock the Texans in as divsion champions.
The Colts weren’t far behind the top two. Indiannapolis finished the 2016-17 season with an 8-8 mark, only a game behind the Titans and Texans. It’s going to once again be a three-horse race in coming seasons, as the Jaguars have been regressing too much to cause problems for the top three. It may come down to the last week of the season, so make sure you do your homework when selecting futures bets.
As a general rule of thumb, back the Texans when they are at home. Also, bet the under in the majority of Texans games until their offense proves their worth. Deshaun Watson shows promise but don’t bank on the over until he starts putting up some serious numbers.
In terms of the Colts, favor the over. They score at will but can’t keep the opposition out of their endzone. It’s a trend we see continuing for the foreseeable future.
