Switzerland Vs France Euro Cup Game Prediction

Switzerland Vs France Euro Cup Game Prediction
France Vs. Switzerland was perhaps the most anticipated of Group A before the off, but after both teams put in mediocre performances in their openers will it live up to the hype, and more importantly, are there any opportunities for shrewd bettors?

European Championship Wager Of The Day

France (-165) vs. Switzerland (+475)

By Sam Shan

Even after a shaky start, France are still firm favorites to go on and lift the cup. Yes, they squandered opportunities, but they got the job done. Dimitri Payet scored an unbelievable goal in the closing minutes of the game, showing the world once again just how good he is, and perhaps more importantly, just how full of confidence he is right now.

We expect the same attacking triumvirate of Dimitri Payet, Olivier Giroud and Antoine Griezman to once again create the bulk of chances. France’s main concern is at the back. Eliaquim Mangala stepped in for Raphael Varane. Unfortunately for the French, Mangala doesn’t instill confidence and could potentially be France’s undoing.

The Swiss also made hard work of their first game, against Albania, only managing a 1-0 victory. However, their movement was good and they look like they have more to come. Granit Xhaka stood out for the Swiss. He has a great touch, a good range of passing and is surprisingly very physical for his build. Haris Seferovic and Xherden Shaquiri are the other two players in the Swiss side that can have a huge impact, both are capable of goals and Xherdaen Shaquiri is a great provider to his team.

There will be a lot of talent on display. France are the favorites, but they should not be as short as -165. There is certainly more value in Switzerland at +475. Based on the players on the field and France’s weak defense, there should be a few goals in this game.

France know they need to do better and will be feeling the pressure of the nation. The Swiss also need to improve and after seeing France’s opener they will be filled with confidence going into the game.

Over 2.5 goals is currently priced at -105, but that is a little short. Switzerland are not given enough credit from the books here.

The best bet for this match up is backing the Swiss on a on the spread. Switzerland’s +1 is priced at -125 and is a great bet. If you are looking for a slightly higher risk but more return, then Switzerland double chance is another great bet at + 130.
