San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks all plying their trade in the NFC West, the division is set for another rollercoaster ride in 2016. 2015 saw the four sides in the NFC West have contrasting fortunes. The San Francisco 49ers struggled to make any impact and finished with a 5-11 record, winning just once on the road across eight games. The Los Angeles Rams went 5-3 at home but were 2-6 on the road to finish 7-9.

The Seattle Seahawks had a good record of 5-3 at home and away, but they still finished behind the imperious Arizona Cardinals. The Cards went 13-3 which included a 7-1 away record.

2016 promises to be a thrilling regular season with the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals extremely closely matched. With the two teams providing great attacking plays, either have a good chance of Superbowl glory…if they can make the playoffs.

How To Win At NFC West Betting

The NFC West Division looks marginally more open than in recent seasons, with last season’s runaway victors, the Arizona Cardinals set to be challenged by the Seattle Seahawks, who finished 2015 three wins behind their rivals in second place.

In fact, 2016 saw The Seahawks go into the regular season as favorites to take the NFC West title, with their odds of -135 via BetOnline at the start of May 2016.

The Cards, however, are a good bet at +140 to win out purely on the basis of the margins being so slight that its better to take the value. We wouldn’t recommend investing in either Los Angeles Rams (+1000) or the San Francisco 49ers, who look doomed before they really begin at +2500.

Here’s why the Arizona Cardinals might be hard to stop and why they were such good value on the moneyline in 2015.

Russell Wilson is likely to be a vital part of Seattle Seahawks’ attempt to wrestle the NFC West trophy back from The Cards, with his NFL career bringing so many memories to every Seahawks (and football) fan:

When it comes to Superbowl odds, many observers would suggest that whoever wins the NFC West out of the Cards or Seahawks has a great chance to take the Super Bowl. Bovada had the Seahawks at just +800 to win at season start, only behind The New England Patriots at +700, with the Cards available at +1400, sixth favorites.

Again, we like the Cards for the outright bet purely for value, but both teams have great chances. NFC West honors have been taken by either of these two teams for the past three seasons and we see no change at the top this year.

Although the Seahawks haven’t dramatically altered their roster, they have so much quality in key positions. Arizona, however, have brought in a new face, with Robert Nkemdiche hoping to boost what was a slow pass rush in 2015 despite the title heading to Arizona.

The Los Angeles Rams (+5000 to win the Superbowl) are more likely to rely on defense than any other side in NFC West, due to players like Todd Gurley.

Should Jared Goff perform miracles, there is an outside chance they could challenge the top for a while, but we can’t see them lasting the distance. As for the San Francisco 49ers, who are the longest odds of all teams at +10,000 to win the Super Bowl, they’ll need a major overhaul before becoming a threat to the postseason anytime soon.

Invest wisely in the futures markets for the NFC West and not only could you have sweat on the title winner, but also the postseason as the winner from a tough two horse race could well go the distance. Here are some of our trusted partners to help you do just that!
