Best Atlanta Falcons Betting Sites

The Atlanta Falcons have won five division titles in their history, most recently in 2012 and, until the 2016-17 season, managed one Super Bowl appearance, which came in the 1998 season. With the Falcons in cruise control, it looked like Atlanta were set to easily win the Super Bowl. Cue the Patriots’ comeback. The Falcons need to regroup for the coming season but it’s easier said than done. Led by Matt Ryan, the Falcons will still be one of the best teams with the ball. Their 33.8 points per game in the 2016 regular season was unmatched. [+]

The NFC South is comprised of the Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Since it’s inception in 2002 each team has won the title at least three times, the only division in the NFL where that has happened. This can make it difficult for the bettor in futures terms.

The big question is whether the Falcons can rebound after the massive letoff in the Super Bowl last season. They are led by veterans who have the pedigree to return to the big game and Ryan will do everything in his power to redeem himself.

How To Win At Atlanta Falcons Betting

Atlanta come into the new season with a massive challenge, to overcome one of the most disappointing Super Bowl losses of all time. This team is equipped with the players to recover and return to the big show, especially with Matt Ryan at the helm. The pivot led the most prolific offense in the league during the NFL season, as the Falcons scored almost 34 points per game. They scored four points more per game than division rival New Orleans.

The Falcons’ defense let the team down in a big way, allowing over 25 points per game. It was the sixth worst mark in the NFL. A general rule of thumb when beting on Falcons games is to consistently back the over.

Definitely back the over if the Falcons are playing at home in the dome. Atlanta had the NFC South’s best home record, but only by a single game. The Falcons were actually better on their travels in 2016, winning six of eight games. Compare that to their 5-3 home record.

Atlanta’s favorite opponents live within the NFC South, as Ryan’s men won five of six against division rivals.
